Facilities
Toilets & showers
In our communal bathhouse, you will find 5 toilets, 3 showers, and 2 sinks. We have equipped the bathhouse with luxurious and organic products from Rudolph Care, and there is, of course, both hot and cold water. All showers have a small shelf and a hook so you can bring personal belongings into the shower. We have also created a combined toilet and shower area where there is a little more space. Families with young children who need assistance in the shower especially appreciate this. Outside the bathhouse, we have installed two outdoor showers with cold water so you can rinse off the sand after a trip to the beach or if you just need a refreshing cold shower.
Kitchen
If you feel like cooking for yourself during your stay on the campsite, there are plenty of opportunities to do so. We have created a kitchen with an oven, stove, and refrigerators. Additionally, the kitchen is equipped with the most basic kitchen utensils, such as pots, pans, bowls, cutlery, crockery, glasses, cups, and of course, dishcloths and towels for cleaning. Each tent has its own shelf to use in the fridge, as well as a box for storing dry goods such as oats, biscuits, or bread. The kitchen is cleaned daily, but we ask our guests to leave it as they would like to find it. It is a communal kitchen, and there should be space for everyone.
Grill & campfire
Our cozy campfire area is located centrally on the site. We have furnished the area with two fire bowls, providing ample opportunity to gather around the warmth when darkness falls. The fire bowls were specially designed by our blacksmith Michl and are made from old tractor rims. The edges of the fire bowl can be used to rest the stick for making campfire bread, and there is a grate for grilling over an open flame or with charcoal in the nearby pit. Our guests are welcome to light the fire themselves, but it is important to familiarize themselves with the rules for lighting fires, which are posted in the communal kitchen. Additionally, the fire must be extinguished when leaving the area.
Yoga every morning
There’s nothing better than doing something good for yourself and getting a good start to the day. Every morning, you can practice yoga on the beach to the sound of the waves and birds chirping. You can join the yoga session whether you are staying on the campsite or not. It costs 80 kr for non-guests and 60 kr for guests of the campsite. If you don’t have your own yoga mat, you can borrow one from us at the café.
Café & beach bar
On the campsite, we also have our small organic café. Here, you can get a good cup of coffee, breakfast, lunch, or snacks every day from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. Additionally, we have a selection of Rudolph Care products as well as bathing and workout clothes from Copenhagen Cartel and some light summer styles from Rabens Saloner. The café is for everyone, including guests who are not staying on the site, and you are always welcome to hang out in our lounge area next to the café. We also serve dinner three days a week, but please remember to sign up in advance.
Loungearea
We have set up two covered lounge areas on the site. One is located in the heart of the site next to our café with plenty of tables and benches. The other area is a bit further away from the common facilities, where it is quieter. Both areas offer plenty of opportunities to eat, play cards, work remotely, or just enjoy the shade while the sun is shining. In front of the lounge tents, we have also furnished with armchairs if you prefer to relax in the sun.
Games & fun
Eco Beach Camp is located in the soft sand of Balka beach, making it the perfect playground for the little ones in the family. We have buckets and shovels available for free use at the café on site. Additionally, we have plenty of games that can be borrowed from the café, including ladder golf, king game, petanque, yatzy, card games, and backgammon. You can also rent paddleboards, and of course, there is wifi on the premises.
